Nomad Highlands

Region 3 of 6 in the centre of the map, opened at Flame level 4. Most enemies are level 16 to 20.

The Nomad Highlands is a land of limestone bluffs high above the Shroud at the centre of the map, and it borders every other region, the Kindlewastes along the longest stretch. Its landmarks include the Pillars of Creation, two huge volcanoes tied to the Ancients, and Umber Hollow, a low basin of dense Shroud in its middle. It is the third region, opened by Flame level 4, with most enemies at levels 16 to 20. Most of Embervale's Vukah live here in camps and cave passages across the highlands; the Vukah Warrior, Ranger and Shaman are among its commonest creatures, and a Vukah Brawler holds the Vukah Arena. Scavengers occupy several large settlements, while the Hollow keep to a small graveyard in the north-west and the Catacombs next to it. The Sabertooth Tiger is the most common wild animal.
