Shroud Depthdweller

Fell enemy found in Nomad Highlands, Kindlewastes and Albaneve Summits. It comes in 2 variants: large and medium.

Shroud Depthdwellers are large, jellyfish-like Fell that drift through the upper reaches of the Shroud, first appearing in the Nomad Highlands. They launch small copies of themselves that chase a player and explode for heavy Shock damage, and their tentacles act like Deadly Shroud, draining the Shroud timer fast on contact. Those offspring can be shot down with ranged or magic attacks or parried back with a block timed just before impact, while fighting a depthdweller in melee is close to impossible. Cutting, Piercing, Blunt and Fire all deal 150% damage, Shock 80%, and Shroud none. A large depthdweller drops 8 to 12 Shroud Gelatin and gives twice the base XP; a medium one drops 1 to 2.
