Night Sanctums

30 in Embervale, in areas of level 3 to 45.

Night Sanctums are Ancient structures that keep human knowledge, five to a region, and their doors open only at night. In the 20 sanctums of the Nomad Highlands, Kindlewastes, Albaneve Summits and Veilwater Basin, opening the door also uses up a Spark. Inside, a run of traps leads to the end, and one sanctum per region holds that region's stronger Gem Forge. Elio Ricci, the Barber, is rescued at Elder's Night Sanctum in the Revelwood, whose barrier the quest Illuminate The Night investigates. Their chests hold pieces of two scholar sets: the gloves, cloak, helmet and boots of the Scholar Of The Empyrean set in the Nomad Highlands, and the boots, cloak, pants and helmet of the Scholar of the Young Flame set in the Kindlewastes. Darya's Wand and Darya's Staff are kept in Albaneve Summits sanctums, and a Veilwater Basin sanctum holds the Frozen Gauntlets with a Gem of Lycanthropy.
