About
A Gem Forge is an Ancient device for setting gems into weapons, taking them out again and recycling them, fuelled by Archaic Essence from Shroud Lairs. Each region has three, and one of the three stands inside a Night Sanctum and is stronger than the others. The quest Finding And Using A Gem Forge leads to a forge in the Springlands, and in the Albaneve Summits a Fell Sicklescythe guards one. One Albaneve Summits sanctum forge also has a second map marker at the sanctum's entrance, 159 m from the forge.
