Illuminate The Night

The Flame sends you to the Elder's Night Sanctum near Fort Kelvin to find the Barber. You get 1,200 XP and Elio Ricci.

Steps

3
  1. 1

    Investigate The Barrier

    At

The barrier is at the Elder's Night Sanctum, about 100 m south-east of the Sacrificial Vukah Pit and 190 m east of Fort Kelvin.

    Journal

The Flame senses a barrier, built by the elder Ancients, that inhibits its reach and vision. Whatever is hidden behind the barrier is invisible to the Flame — making it all the more interesting for you.

Reach and investigate the dark barrier!

  2. 2

Open The Night Door And Explore The Sanctum

    At

The door marker sits about 70 m south-west of the sanctum marker and 140 m south of the Sacrificial Vukah Pit.

    Journal

You've reached a location known as a "Night Sanctum". The barrier you've set out to investigate revealed itself to be a door. However, the star and moon ensemble decorating its facade indicates this to be no ordinary door, and it doesn't seem susceptible to force.

Find a way to open the night door and explore the inside of the temple!

  3. 3

    Summon The Barber

    At

Craft a Summoning Staff by hand from 1 Twigs if you need one, then summon Elio Ricci at your base.

    Journal

You found a sleeping survivor in the bowels of the Night Sanctum!

Summon the survivor with a Summoning Staff to continue!
