Ancient Spires

8 in Embervale, in areas of level 3 to 39.

An Ancient Spire is a tower built by the Ancients that is climbed from the inside, past climbing puzzles, locked doors and traps, to the Flame at the top. Speaking to that Flame reveals Elixir Wells and Flame Sanctums on the map and makes the spire a fast travel point, the only kind of place that works as one. Until then, the map shows the spire with a locked marker. Every region has a spire, and the Springlands and Revelwood each have a second one for their sub-regions, the Low Meadows and the Blackmire. The quest The Ancient Spires leads to the Springlands spire, in an area of level 3, while the Veilwater Basin spire stands at level 39. From the top, a glider covers much of the surrounding ground.
