Ancient Vaults
10 in Embervale, in areas of level 1 to 35.
About
Five of the ten Ancient Vaults lie in the Springlands, and each of those holds one of the first survivors: Oswald Anders the Blacksmith, Balthazar the Alchemist, Athalan Skree the Hunter, Cade Hawthorn the Carpenter and Emily Fray the Farmer. Survivors unlock more advanced crafting, and one found in a vault is summoned with a Summoning Staff from the manual crafting menu. The Revelwood's only vault is the Sunken Ancient City, where Valory the Bard is rescued during Follow The Melody. The other four are tombs and a temple in the Albaneve Summits with no survivor in them. The Spooky Tomb's chest holds the Hollow's Eve set, and the Forgotten Temple, entered from behind a frozen waterfall, holds the Dragon's Wing and is where The Dragons' Last Breath sets its riddle.
Survivors allow you to craft more diverse and advanced items. They are vital for improving your equipment, supplies, and storage.
The survivors must be recovered from Ancient Vaults and summoned using a Summoning Staff. The Summoning Staff can be crafted in the Manual Crafting tab.
